North G'Bush Web site developer launches new site
The Business Review (Albany) - by Richard A. D'Errico Business Review Reporter
Dynamic Applications Inc. of North Greenbush a Web site developer, launched its new, redesigned Web site.
President John Reilly said since the company started a little more than two years ago, it has kept a low profile locally. But those days are over, he said.
"We kind of avoided local marketing because we didn't know if we'd get swamped with calls" from people wanting Web sites for their restaurants or diners.
The company caters more to businesses with a national presence such as investment bank Merrill Lynch, and on companies that are involved in e-commerce, publishing customer service or training, Reilly said.
In the past, the company's focus was on back-end development--"we were basically all programmers"--but in November a front-end team consisting of a writer, art director, creative director and multimedia programmer was hired, he said.
Last year the company has $1.1 million in sales. Reilly said the company has 14 clients and has developed 20 to 30 Web sites.
Most of the company's business has come from referrals, he said, but this year the company will be doing more marketing.
The new Web site is at www.dynamicapps.com.
